Pengendalian peralatan dan suku cadang sangat penting dalam hal penentuan keputusan suatu barang membutuhkan manajemen yang baik apakah alat tersebut diperlukan atau tidak, dengan siapa pembelian dilakukan, kapan dilakukan pemesanan, berapa jumlah yang dipesan, tingkat dan jaminan mutu suku cadang yang diperlukan, anggaran suku cadang, dan lain-lain.
